The Athlete

Rising fast in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports

I’m Kayleigh Thomas — a freshman flag football player at Warner University in Florida, competing on scholarship.

This year I earned a starting position as a freshman, helping my team win a recent tournament with victories over the University of Florida, UCF, and USF. I’ve also been selected to represent Great Britain on the Women’s National Performance Team — placing me on the pathway to the 2026 World Championships and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Before college I captained both my varsity flag football and soccer teams, earned All-League honors, completed 590+ hours of community service, and served as a youth mentor through athletics. I started playing flag football in 2024 — and my rapid growth reflects my work ethic, leadership, and determination.
